Enterprise Works is a new centre within the University of York, offering practical support to local businesses and entrepreneurs. It offers assistance with student recruitment, skills development and training, and office space, as well as support and mentoring.
The centre approached Disruptor Media to generate strong leads from its key target audience, which Enterprise Works would then follow up on. We secured these leads through a combination of eye-catching social media ads, and a carefully optimised landing page.
As part of the campaign, we developed an optimised landing page that was carefully written to appeal to the centre’s specific target audience. We worked closely with the client to ensure the copy was not only crafted to drive conversions, but was also reflective of its unique tone of voice. We also worked alongside its branding agency to ensure that all creative assets meet brand guidelines.
The landing page contained a prominent enquiry form which captured all of the relevant information, including a drop-down menu for the user to select which services they were interested in, helping the centre to tailor its approach when following up the leads.
The page contained prominent calls to action, to encourage the user to submit an enquiry, along with mini case studies from previous projects to build trust. The page was also fully responsive, making it suitable to view on phones and tablets without losing any of its aesthetic appeal or functionality.
To gather the leads that Enterprise Works needed, we ran a Facebook campaign using lead generation and conversion-based ads. These presented the user with a form to complete within Facebook, or directed users to the landing page. We tested and optimised our activity to maximise a steady flow of leads.
Using eye-catching imagery, clear and concise copy, and clever audience targeting, we were able to deliver our quota of qualified leads to the client.
We ran these ads in conjunction with LinkedIn Sales Navigator activity, and identified a list of LinkedIn users that met the client’s criteria to reach out to with carefully crafted copy. This supported our Facebook activity, providing the centre with further engaged leads that were interested in its service offering.
