Ecolectrix is an electric vehicle (EV) charger installation company, covering homes and businesses nationwide. In line with the UK’s 2030 EV targets, the company supports anyone in the market for a new electric vehicle, by selling and installing an array of EV chargers.
Disruptor Media delivered a sleek website with clear branding for Ecolectrix, and topped it off with a social media content strategy to establish the brand as the one-stop-shop for anyone wishing to adapt to a more sustainable future.
Ecolectrix was brand new when it approached us, with zero branding, presence, or marketing assets. We created a slick new logo as well as a full set of brand guidelines, covering everything from colours to typography, along with a secondary set of brand guidelines solely for social media, ensuring content that was consistent, on-brand, and, of course, looked great on the grid.

The Ecolectrix website doesn’t just look good – it provides an excellent user experience and has some clever built-in functionality.
At the time of developing the site, the Government was offering a grant to homeowners looking to have chargers fitted in their property. We designed a bespoke eligibility-checker tool that took the user through a simple journey to discover if they were eligible for the grant, whilst recommending the best charger for them.
This tool could be switched off in a couple of quick clicks when the grant ended, and if new or similar came into effect in the future, it could be easily adapted and reused.
As Ecolectrix was a brand new business when we partnered with them, we set up all of their social media accounts and built up a strong, engaged following from scratch. We created a smart social media strategy to help them secure sales, build brand awareness and grow audiences. With the ban on petrol and diesel cars coming in 2030, Ecolectrix is ahead of its time and our work made sure that, when that time comes, Ecolectrix is the first choice for EV charger installations.
We also carried out lead generation activity on social media for Ecolectrix. Through community management and outreach via Instagram and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, we provided a continuous flow of qualified leads, both commercial and domestic. We also enjoyed success in capturing leads through Facebook form ads.
